industry as the Swiss Alpes have worldwide and also the respectful
characteristics of this country, nothing else then an excellent service at
hospitality establishments is expected.
Switzerland is famous for its lasting
“labor piece”. By carefully balancing the various social and economic forces
the Swiss have managed to avoid major social confrontations. There is a
long-standing agreement by which employers and employees settle their
grievances by negotiation, and strikes are rare. Trade unions, professional
associations and other pressure groups all have their say in the formulation of
economic policies. That is all the base and structure all the employees from
the 27 thousand restaurants can count on.
